Registration is open for our annual meeting in Riverside County. Please make your plans to attend and, as usual, enjoy mixing with other soils enthusiasts and visit this fascinating California area.
The focus of the meeting will be on the Mojave soils, touring through Joshua Tree National Park, and exploring different parts of Riverside County centered around Yucca Valley. Tours by carpool will be on Friday and Saturday.
You will be responsible for your own lodging, with campgrounds and BLM land plentiful in the area for camping, and many options for hotels/motels in the area. Lunches, snacks, and at least one dinner will be provided (more details to come soon).
Thursday, Sept 17th – Travel to the area, get settled in, and meet up with friends.
Friday, Sept 18th – Tour Day 1: Salton Sea and Coachella Valley
Saturday, Sept 19th – Tour Day 2: Joshua Tree National Park, PSSAC Business Meeting and Banquet
Sunday, Sept 20th – Explore Riverside County on your own as you travel home.
